The car came from the NEX mall ("The Mall at Pearl Harbor"). After docking, the ferry will park near the NGIS facility on the Pearl Harbor side of the base. Does not work on Ford Island.
The only car rental company on board is Enterprise. There are locations at the Hickam AMC Terminal and the NEX. The company can bring the rental to you or arrange for you to pick up the pax port, but you will pay for the convenience.

Spring is a very difficult time to fly Space-A in Hawaii due to spring break schedules. The spring session for Hawai'i public schools is mid-March, March, or early April, and most of the time is March through March.

The Royal Alaka'I is located adjacent to Hickam AFB, within walking distance of the terminal. Makalapa VOQ, Lockwood Hall and Arizona Hall are located in Pearl Harbor, 10 minutes from the ferry terminal. JBPHH has several flights to Kwajalein Atoll, but you need the support of an island resident to go there.
Hickam also has frequent flights to Eielson AFB (Alaska) and Osan AB (Korea), but return flights from these locations are not as frequent. The large number of military bases and recreation areas on Oahu means there are plenty of options if you want to stay on a military base but can't or don't want to stay at JBPHH.
